Turtle Dove Tea Towel

On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… This beautifully illustrated tea-towel is made in the UK with organic cotton and inspired by the wonderfully wild creatures that thrive here at Knepp.

The Turtle Dove is the fastest declining bird in the UK with a tragic loss of 98% in only 48 years. One of Knepp’s biggest success stories has been the return of the Turtle Dove, with 20 singing males recorded at Knepp in 2021, compared with only 3 in 1999. This tea-towel celebrates this back-from-the-brink success and urges the Turtle Dove to continue making its wonderful “Turr” sound.
